Licence Agreement Information

SAT's strategy is to license the use of Localizer technology for inclusion within finished products manufactured by a wide range of partners covering a variety of end user application  areas. List of Licensees...

Typically SAT's Licence Agreement covers:

Segment of application
Geographical territory
Exclusivity or Non-Exclusivity
Licence Fee and Royalty
Intellectual Property protection

Considerations

In exchange for his licence agreement, the licensee gains access to a unique, Patent Protected technology which gives him competitive advantage and a unique selling proposition - adding value to shareholders and customers alike.

The application markets we are targeting vary considerably in size, ease of access and cost of entry.

Exclusivity will only be granted in exceptional circumstances where a licensee has a unique market access typically with very high market share in a small market.

Factors such as  legislative environment,   development cost, marketing costs to establish user demand, likely selling price and volumes will dramatically alter the up front cost and time of entry to each market as well as the scale of opportunity.

The above variables mean SAT does not have a fixed cost for either the Licence Fee (paid on signing an agreement) or the royalty fee (paid on each unit sale). However these fees will reflect the above factors to ensure that a fair return is provided for the shareholders in SAT as well as for the licensees. SAT is keen to share both in the investment to create each market and also the rewards on success.
