Facial Recognition - example of application - Elevators
An
environment where the two technologies meet perfectly is that of the
elevator. If the camera is high
enough to ensure all occupants are in view there may not be enough facial
information for recognition software to identify the occupants. However,
if Face2Cam
is mounted centrally in the ceiling with a Directional Sound Beacon,
which when triggered compulsively makes all occupants look up, the
facial recognition software does the rest.
